Off to Idaho

This last weekend Little Miss and I loaded ourselves into my mom's truck and along with my mom and dad we headed down to Twin Falls, Idaho for a wedding. We have been friends with the family of the groom for 24 years....Lacey and I met in nursery and have been friends ever since. Her little brother Ira was getting married so we headed down. Of course no trip is complete without the handy DVD player. Back in the day it was the handy walkman that would play "we sing silly songs" Little miss did great considering how long we were in the car. We had a great time catching up with our friends although this trip was way too short.

We got in pretty late to Twin Falls but that doesn't stop a 2 year old from jumping on the bed even if her mommy is telling her to be quiet so she doesn't wake anyone else. The next morning we got ready and headed off to the temple. Since Jared wasn't able to come and I knew Little Miss wouldn't go to anyone else we walked around the temple grounds during the sealing. It was chilly out in the shade but the day was a beautiful day.

We were so happy to see our friends and wish it could have been a longer visit. The next morning we headed off to Pocatello to visit the newly weds. Another short visit but it was great to see Geran and Kathy and to watch conference with them. We headed out the next morning bright and early to head back home. Crazy thing is that we hit SNOW from Pocatello to Jerome and then rain and then sun. It was a fun trip and I was able to get away from the mess of repairs at my home for a few days.
