Vegas

I sadly didn't take very many photos of our trip to Vegas but I know someone did.

Last week we loaded our suitcases in the car and headed to the airport. Because the Dr has said no to a trip to a wonderful tropical place at the end of June we decided we wanted to take a vacation in place of that. Jared's family was going to Vegas to visit Stephanie my sister in law who is teaching down there and we decided to head down there too. We did a lot of walking. Not sure my pregnant self liked all the walking or the lack of my body pillow but we had a great time and it was nice having time with Jared as he is busy at work. We went and saw the Blue man group one night. We had seen the show when we were in Florida a couple of Christmas's ago but Little Miss stayed with the other cousins and Grandma while the adults went and saw it. This time around she went with us. At first the noise was too much for her and I spent about 1/2 the show with my hands covering her ears but by the end she was dancing and enjoying the show. The rest of the time we were in Vegas whenever she saw a Blue Man billboard or poster she would say something about them. It was great to see it again. A little was different but for the most part it was the same as in Florida. Its such a fun show that seeing it again is well worth it.

We also went to M&M world where Little Miss, Jared and Grandpa were in heaven. Little Miss and Grandpa have a love for M&M's and Jared just loves peanut butter M&M's. We let Little Miss choose the colors she wanted and she had mentioned she wanted Purple ones as she has a fascination with purple lately. To our surprise she left the store with Pink, Turquoise and blue. No purple.

We also went and saw the Bellagio fountains and their flower display in the hotel and a bunch of other stuff. We also went bowling at the alley in our hotel. I personally didn't bowl but we got Little Miss some shoes and she was very hesitant at first and only wanted help from Grandma Jackie. She warmed up quickly and was a site to see. By her second game she let Stephanie help her. I think we will have to take her bowling more and bring a video camera next time. I did get some small clips of her bowling but missed the really funny shots of her laying on the floor or squatting down and shaking her little toosh.

Little Miss did pretty good for the flights. The first one she was restless and just wanted to wiggle, she started to doze off right after we landed. The second flight she fell asleep right before we took off and woke up when I had to put her back in her seat for landing. So much better then the first flight.

We had a good time hanging out with Jared's family and can't wait to hang out again in June.
