Home Update!!!

On May 11th Jared drove up to the property to see what progress had been made as we were told that the city had approved the plans for permits and Quadrant called us to say that they had released our plans for construction. The below picture is our property with the forms ready to have concrete poured for the foundation.

Yesterday we had our pre-construction meeting with the Construction Superintendent to go over the process of what happens next and then we were able to go out to the property and see what has been done since the 11th.

The above photo is a view from the end of our property looking at the back of the house. There is a little mound of dirt located somewhat in the middle of the foundation wall and that is where our steps will be coming out the sliding door. From where I was standing taking the photo all the way to the house back wall will be our back yard. It is roughly 58' long by 40' wide. It will be a nice large backyard for the kiddos.

This picture is obviously the front of the house with the "Fresh" cement in the garage. They had poured the concrete in the garage that same day. So as of today we are now into construction day #1. They started framing today. 53 work days to go!!! We hope to make it up there this weekend to take more photos of the progress. So check back soon for more exciting photos. We are thrilled to finally see progress on the home and can't wait to call it ours!!
