Okay I know this is almost a month late but yes it is official Jitter Bug is walking. She started walking on August 22nd. She had been practicing standing for about a week and then one day I set her on the floor standing up and she took a step forward towards Jared and fell to her knees. A couple minutes later I tried again and she took a couple more steps to Jared and once again fell to her knees. Jared and I then both sat down on the floor and she walked between us for a good little while until she got tired. Jared was able to get some moments of her first steps on camera. Sadly the video is HUGE and I don't know how to make it smaller. It sometimes has issues.) it is located under videos on Jitter Bug's page. Now she is unstoppable. She is everywhere and loves to follow us around. Sometimes she will come barreling towards you a warp speed and suprisingly keeps her footing long enough to get to you before she falls. It is very exciting watching her grow and we have so much fun with her. She likes to take a remote and put it to her ear when Jared is on the phone and follow him around. Hopefully now she will start talking so we can understand her. Other news she officially has 16 teeth. A couple of them are still working their way in but for the most part they are done. Now we just need the back 4 and hopefully that will stop the teething for a while and give her a break.
Jitter Bug has also taken a liking to climbing into her toy box and playing with whatever she isn't sitting on. It also gives her enough height to peer out the window.
