Well I have been bad at this blogging thing....We are in the process of updating our original site and making it more user friendly for me and making it what we really want it to be. So stay tuned for the news that it is finished...Hopefully soon!!!
Jitter Bug had her one year appointment a month ago and she is now officially 20 lbs and 4 oz. She is 29 1/2 inches tall and doing great. She had three shots and had a reaction to the MMR shot as explained to us might happen. Well it happened. A week after and then again two weeks after. She had a roaring fever and a rash all over her torso and a little on her nose. Luckily it went away and she is back to normal. She is now 13 months old and doing great. She has teeth number 13, 14 and 15 coming in and I am sure 16 is on the way. I will be happy when she is done teething. She is finally eating more solids and may be on the horizon of stopping the whole nursing thing. More of a relief to me. She LOVES to dance. She is so much like Jared. He would listen to music all day if he could. She loves to bop her head to any beat and loves to mimic what we do. Jared and her are always dancing together.
Jared is working hard as usual and has started his last part of a three part negotiations course for work and will finish in September. He is staying busy with his calling as there is never a dull moment as Elder's Quorum President. He seems to always be going...but overall he is doing great.
I am doing good...just doing the mother thing and loving it. I will admit I have my "mommy needs a break" moments but then you look at that little face staring up at you and you can't help but fall in love with her all over again. My favorite moments are when she wakes up and crawls over to you, lifts up your shirt and puts her little finger in your belly button. (She does the same to her belly button when she is nursing) She also likes to get right up in your face and in the sweetest Little voice say HI. She loves to drop things on purpose just so she can say Uh Oh and will put her hands up and say Huh? She is great!
Jared and I are also in the process of looking for a home. Time to leave the Renters party. No luck so far though. We have found a couple possibilities but those options have not worked out. So we will continue to look and hope soon we will find the place we are supposed to be. We would love to stay in the area we are in but unfortunately we are not millionaires....okay that's a little dramatic but lets just say its out of our price range. Stay tuned for updates on the house hunting as I hope to soon have good news.
And for your viewing pleasure a picture taken today of our little Jitter Bug.
