The house is ALMOST done!! This last weekend Jared and I went up to check out how things were coming along. The carpet was in the vinyl installed and the trim work finished. It was exciting to see all that had been finished and by tomorrow the little details and touch up work should be done. They have been working on the cleaning of the interior this week and also the landscaping in the front. Monday we go for our final walk through, then we go sign papers and then on Wednesday we go get our keys!!!!! It has been a really long process since started house hunting our a year and a half ago. Luckily it is about to finish. We will finally be able to get our stuff out of the storage unit that it was put in last October and finally get to unpack our suitcases that were also packed up in October. Here are some of the final photos with the remaining to come next week when we finally get the house.

Our bathroom, this will be Jared's vanity and mine is located on the other side of the window. They still have the cardboard covering all the vinyl surfaces so they don't get scratched.

I LOVE MY KITCHEN!!! Everything turned out as far as our choices for colors. Jared is a little skeptical about the flooring color so we will see. We hope to replace it anyway in a few years with tile.


We have our fridge, washer and dryer being delivered the end of next week but the stuff we bought through the builder is in. I love the look of the stainless. We are so excited for next week. We will miss my family, and we appreciate all that they have done during this process and letting us live with them through the craziness. Good thing we aren't moving that far away although my sister would beg to differ.

Now its time to beat the heat..Hopefully it won't hit 103 degrees today like it did yesterday....This is not supposed to happen in Seattle.
