Yesterday we went up to check out our soon to be new ward and after church we drove by the house to see if anything else on the outside had been done. We knew for the most part that the work was all inside at this point. We were pleased to see something change on the outside. Can you spot the differences.....Okay probably not. The Gutters are on, the garage door is installed even though you can't see it. They have it open for some reason. The driveway, sidewalk and porch have been poured.
In the back we opted to have the patio put in along with the included concrete steps. So that has also been poured. On the side of the house there is a door leading out from the garage and they poured a ginormous step leading out, not so sure how much we like it, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that they aren't quite done with it as it looks pretty bad.
Our next chance to go inside is Sunday. We have been told that the paint will be up and that all the walls would of course be covered in sheet rock. We hope to take measurements for blinds so those ae ready when we move in. We are now on the downhill portion of this process. Today will be day 28 of a 54 day process. Still sounds like a lot but it really isn't. Finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Stay tuned for pictures from the inside in a week.
